Waterloo 94

The 94 de Waterloo ( Waterloo 94 English ) was a Canadian ice hockey team from Waterloo, Quebec. The team played in the 1996/97 season in the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League.

History

The 94 de Waterloo was founded in 1996 as a franchise of the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League. In this they were one of the 13 founding members. In their only season, the 1996/97 season, the team finished in second place in the Central Division. With 16 wins and 34 points in 36 games, the team showed it to a negative balance. Thereupon the franchise to Granby, Quebec, resettled, where it replaced under the name Lightning de Granby, the Canadian junior team of professional prédateurs de Granby of the QMJHL after their resettlement. From 2002 to 2004 the team played under the name prédateurs de Granby in the QSPHL.
