Sorel Mission

The Mission de Sorel - Tracy (English Sorel - Tracy Mission ) was a Canadian ice hockey team from Sorel - Tracy, Quebec. The team played from 2004 to 2008 in the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey.

History

The franchise of the Mission de Sain -Jean from the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League was founded in 2004 relocated from Saint -Jean -sur -Richelieu by Sore - Tracy and renamed Mission de Sorel - Tracy. In the same year QSPHL due to the growing professionalization of its participants changed its name to Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey. In the LNAH the team had a mixed record on and worsened in the four years of its existence, from second place in their inaugural season, the 2004/05 season, to seventh place in 2008. In the playoffs, the Coupe Futura was the team did not prevail.

Following the 2007/ 08 season, the franchise was dissolved.
