Monte Compatri
Monte Compatri is a municipality in the province of Rome in the Italian region Latium, located about 11,498 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012). It is located 26 km east of Rome.
Geography
Monte Compatri located in the Alban Hills and is one of the towns of the Castelli Romani. The municipal area also includes the estate Pantano Borghese, a former swamp area between Via Casilina and Via Prenestina, with the remains of the ancient city of Gabii.
It is a member of the Comunità Montana dei Castelli Romani e Prenestini.
