Nussdorf am Attersee is a municipality in Upper Austria in Vöcklabruck district in Hausruckviertel with 1118 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The municipality is located in the judicial district franc market.

Geography

Nussdorf am Attersee is located at 500 m altitude in Hausruckviertel. The expansion is 8.2 kilometers from north to south, from west to east 6.3 km. The total area is 27.3 km ². 44.3 % of the area is forested, 23.8 % of the area is used for agriculture. The highest point is the 1,015 m high Roßmoos.

History

The first settlements were in the form of lake dwellings in the Neolithic Age.

In Nußdorfer district " Gmauret " foundations of an old masonry have come to the fore, which are thought to originate from the Roman period.
