Olympus E-30
The Olympus E-30 is a digital E-System SLR from Olympus. It is based on the Four Thirds Standard. With the E-30, Olympus has for the first time released a digital SLR in the middle class, which enqueues between the three-digit, cheaper models such as the Olympus E -620 and the professional Olympus E-3. Olympus is following the naming scheme of other manufacturers that offer also two digit middle class DSLRs; the E-30 will compete with models like the Nikon D90 or the Canon EOS 50D. It was introduced in November 2008 and has been available since December 2008.
