Peter Shumlin

Peter Shumlin ( born March 24, 1956 in Brattleboro, Vermont ) is an American politician and since January 6, 2011 Governor of the State of Vermont.

Life

Peter Shumlin visited the Buxton School in Vermont and graduated from Wesleyan University. From 1990 to 1992 he was a deputy in the House of Representatives from Vermont; after which he belonged from 1992 to 2002 and from 2006 to 2011 the state Senate.
