Rovato

Rovato is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 18,442 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. The community is located about 18 kilometers west of Brescia and about 29 km east-southeast of Bergamo.

The municipality is located in the wine region Franciacorta at the foot of Monte Orfano.

Traffic

Through the village leads the Autostrada A4 from Turin to Trieste. A motorway junction is. South of the village runs the Strada Statale 11 Padana Superiore. On the rail network Rovato with three stations ( Rovato of RFI, and Rovato Borgo and Rovato Città FN ) is connected, which is served by trains on the routes Rovato - Bornato and Milan-Venice and Bergamo -Brescia.
