Skalice nad Svitavou ( German Skalitz at the Svitava ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers west of Boskovice and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Skalice nad Svitavou located at the western foot of the Drahany country in the Bosko brázda. The village is located on the right side of the Svitava at the confluence of the streams Výpustek and Umori. Southeast of Skalice opens the Bela in the Svitava. History

Archaeological finds evidence of a settlement of the municipality since the Paleolithic.
