Tasovice (Blansko District)

Tasovice ( German Tassowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 16 km west of Boskovice and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Tasovice located in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. To the north rises the Třešinka ( 651 m). The village is situated on the border of the nature park Halasovo - Kunštátko and Svratecká hornatina.

Neighboring towns are Louka in the north, Rozseč nad Kunštátem and Makov in the northeast, Hluboké u Kunštátu in the east, in the southeast Kunice, Bedřichov in the south, Černovice in the southwest, Hodonín in the west and Žalov in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Louka place in the year 1406. The place was then the limit of the possessions of the lords of Lomnitz with the genders of Kunštát, Pernštejna and Boskowitz. In 1496 bought Wilhelm II of Pernštejna from a branch of the castle Lomnitzer Louka with the associated villages Černovice, Louka, Poříčí Hodonín, Tasovice and the town Olešnice and the desert villages Německé, Milejov and Křižánkov on. He slammed the reign Pernštejna The newly acquired goods. Tasovice was subordinated to the local judge of Černovice from 1499.

From 1850 to 1960 the village belonged to Okres Boskovice and came to the resolution to Okres Blansko. In 1913, in Tasovice took a village school to teach, was previously Černovice school location. In 1940, in the valley of Rozsečský creek in the woods, the concentration camp Hodonínek for Moravian Gypsies set up, which were transported from there to the extermination camps. From 1976 to 1990 Tasovice was incorporated to Černovice.
