Strukov

Strukov ( German Strukowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. The place is located five kilometers south-east of Uničov and belongs to Okres Olomouc.

Geography

Strukov is located on the left bank of the river Teplička ( Augezdbach ) in Hanna. Through the village leads the road II/446 of Uničov to Olomouc.

Neighboring towns are Újezd ​​in the north, Brezina and Mladějovice in the northeast, Babice in the east, in the southeast Zerotin, Boudy in the south, Pňovice in the southwest, and Papůvka Dětřichov in the west and Želechovice in the northwest.

History

As part of the Josephine reforms also the Augustinian monastery in Sternberg in 1784. Among the possessions of the Order also included the manor Zerotin. On a part of its corridors, for which no new owner had found, in 1789, the settlement Strokanice / Strokowitz was created. The new place was probably named after the official who distributed the land to the new settlers. From 1850 Strokowitz belonged to the district Šternberk. 1880 was the change of the name in Strokov / Strokowitz. In 1921, the place name Strukov / Strukowitz was officially.

In the course of municipal reform of 1960 Strukov was merged on 1 January 1961, the municipality Žerotín Žerotín Strukov. At the same time was the resolution of the Okres Šternberk and the new municipality was assigned to the Okres Olomouc. On November 24, 1990, dissolved the community Žerotín Strukov and Strukov was independent again. In the land registers are registered for Strukov 79 houses.
