TIM Trophy
The Trofeo TIM ( German TIM Trophy ) is held annually since 2001 soccer tournament pre-season with the three top Italian clubs AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan. The record winner with eight tournament success is Inter Milan. Next comes the AC Milan and Juventus, with three wins and U.S. Sassuolo Calcio with a success.
2013 renounced Inter Milan to participate in the tournament. The free space U.S. Sassuolo Calcio took, the Movers in the Serie A 2013/14, a. The debutant won the Trofeo TIM at its premiere.
The impetus for this pre-season tournament was the namesake, the Italian mobile operator Telecom Italia Mobile ( TIM), which is also sponsoring the first Italian League Serie A and the Coppa Italia Cup competition. The organization of the tournament is in the hands of the Agency Master Group Sport in Milan.

Mode
In three games is one half, some 45 minutes played. So each team completed a full game of 90 minutes. When draw a game is decided by a penalty shootout. After the first game, the third team enters first against the loser and then against the winner of the first encounter.
Case of a tie between two teams, the direct comparison decides. For equal scores among the three clubs, the goal difference and then obtained ( in the regular season ) Gates is consulted first. If still no decision have fallen, one of the lowest average age of used players on each team.

Venues
They will play three games each tournament in a stadium. Over the years changed the stadiums, usually played on neutral ground. Finally, the stage was MAPEI - Città del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia venue of the tournament in 2013.
