Trössing

Trössing is a municipality in the district of Southeastern Styria, Styria, Austria, with 273 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The community Trössing part of the judicial district of Bad Radkersburg.

Geography

Trössing is about 15 km northwest of Bad Radkersburg and about 40 km southeast of the provincial capital of Graz. The municipality belongs to the hills of Eastern Styria and is dewatered in a north-south direction from Gnasbach, a tributary of the River Mur. The altitude of the municipality extends from 260 m above sea level. A. on Gnasbach to 330 m above sea level. A. on the west and 380 m above sea level. A. on the eastern edge community. The municipality covers an area of 4.18 km ².

Trössing belongs to the region Styrian volcano land and is officially called " volcano community," reported.

The community Trössing was awarded the right to bear a coat of arms municipality on 1 October 1991.

Traffic

Trössing is off the main roads. Through the community run the Gnaser country road (L 211), the B 69 connects the South Styrian border road with the Feldbacher road B 68, and the Trössing country road (L 254), which connects the town with the neighboring Bierbaum am Auersbach.
