100 Greatest Britons

100 Greatest Britons was a British television program that aired the BBC in 2002. Here, the audience of Great Britain and Northern Ireland should select their top 100 compatriots.

A similar approach pursued later the German mission Our best. In Canada, the show The Greatest Canadian was, in the Netherlands De Grootste Nederlander, South Africa Great South Africans, and in Finland Suuret Suomalaiset. In the U.S., the format in 2005 was entitled The Greatest American.
