1951 Albanian Superliga

Kategoria e Pare The 1951 ( mutatis mutandis: First League ) was the 14th staging of the Albanian Football Championship and was hosted by the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit. The season started on 14 January and ended on 1 July 1951.

Course of the season

Compared to last year the league was further increased so that they now comprised of fourteen teams. Bardhyli Lezha and Spartaku Pogradec 1950 were relegated from the Kategoria. From the then second-rate Kategoria e Dyte rose for FK Tomori Berat 1951, Shqiponja Gjirokastra, Spartaku Qyteti Stalin (the former Spartaku Kuçova ) and Spartaku Shkodra, which graduated its first top-flight game time on. In addition, all participants Movers Spartaku Qyteti Stalin and Spartaku Shkodra gave up on Dinamo and Partizani Tirana and Socialist names Puna (English work). Titleholder was KS Dinamo Tirana.
