1971–72 Albanian Superliga

Kategoria e Pare The 1971/72 (in a sense: First League ) was the 33rd edition of the Albanian Football Championship and was hosted by the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit.

Course of the season

The league consisted of 14 teams as last season. 1970/71 was KS Apolonia Fier and Lezha Besëlidhja relegated from the Kategoria e Pare, for the new season rose Shkëndija Tirana and Tirana Studenti, both completed their first Erstligaspielzeit, in the top flight on. Defending champion was FK Partizani Tirana.

The championship was played in a regular season with round-trip round. Each team met twice against every other team. The two last- placed teams had to dismount in the then second-rate Kategoria e Dyte. The master did not draw in the European Champions Cup, since Albania withdrew from the competition several years.
