1975–76 NAHL season

The 1975/76 season was the third regular season of the North American Hockey League. The ten teams should complete in the regular season per 74 encounters, but the game plan had to be changed after the Cape Codders prematurely einstellten the game operation. The North American Hockey League was played in two divisions. The point of best team in the regular season were the de Beauce Jaros, while the Philadelphia Firebirds interspersed in the finals at the Lockhart Cup.

Team changes

The following changes were made in the course of the season:

  • The Jaros de Beauce were added as an expansion team in the league.
  • The Buffalo Norsemen were included as Expansinonsteam in the league.
  • The Erie Blades were added as an expansion team in the league.
