Course of the season

Cup decision

A perfect start with seven wins from their first seven games caught B36 Tórshavn and thus settled to the third round at the top of the table. At eight games had to be accepted in the home game against KÍ Klaksvík with 0:3 first defeat. For the next five games, managed just one victory, had on the twelfth Gameday after the 2:3 home defeat against VB Vágur first time the standings at KÍ be delivered. This started with only one win from their first six games and then occupied the seventh place, but then won six games in a row. On 13 Round KÍ Klaksvík away lost in HB Tórshavn 2:3, while B36 Tórshavn 0-0 in the away game against B68 Toftir at least got a point, which led to the exchange of positions of both teams. In the following three matches followed for both teams each have two wins and a draw. On 17 Round KÍ and B36 clashed in a direct duel, which the team from Klaksvík 3-0 in their own stadium could decide for themselves, and thus the table lead changed again. The projection was only one point at a better goal difference to four goals. At the decisive final day KÍ Klaksvík lost lost its away game against GÍ Gøta 1-2. After compensation for KÍ by Todi Jónsson A. in the 68th minute marked four minutes later Magni Jarnskor GÍ for the final score. Now the runner- B36 Tórshavn absolutely had to win, however, reached at home against HB Tórshavn a 1-1, so both teams were equal on points. The residue by Uni Argentina in the 59th minute could Bergur Magnussen compensate four minutes later though, for more but it was not enough. Due to the better goal difference KÍ Klaksvík thus remained in first place.

Relegation battle

SÍ Sumba celebrated on the second match with a 3-1 in the away game against HB Tórshavn their first win. On the second victory but had the time to allow this only took place on the 14th Round 3-2 at home against B68 Toftir. For the league came this was too late, for already the 1-3 defeat at home against B36 Tórshavn in the next game was made the descent after throughout the last place was occupied from the seventh match. A victory would have preserved the theoretical chance that the direct competitors NSÍ Runavík and B68 Toftir that were removed seven points before the game, in their home games was achieved with a 2-0 MB Miðvágur or a 0-0 against KÍ Klaksvík and the distance could thus unassailable enlarge.

B68 Toftir was found after the third round at the end of the table again, which could be left on the seventh match by a 2-2 at home to GÍ Gøta. In the next game came with the 1-0 in the away game against VB Vágur the first win, but until the eleventh match day team was second to last place. In six games from the eighth to the 13th Round B68 conceded only one goal, three gates ranged in this time for three wins, so the relegation zone on the twelfth Gameday could be left again. In the remaining games was only another victory, but with this 3-0 in the home game on 17 game against VB Vágur to B68 Toftir secured the final relegation, eventually took the team to seventh place.

MB Miðvágur was by a 3-0 at home to SÍ Sumba, the first leader. Two and three defeats without a single goal from the next four games, games led to the gradual crash. Through individual victories was still occupied the fourth place on the tenth match day, the advance of the ninth place at this time, however, only two points. The next five games were all lost after the Games of the twelfth matchday MB occupied ninth place, which also could not be finished, because even in recent games jumped out no more victory. After the penultimate round of the descent was made. The direct competitor B68 Toftir won the home game against VB Vágur 3-0, while MB Miðvágur lost the away game against TB Tvøroyri with 0:2 and thus the distance could not make up.
