Course of the season

Wins and Brauweiler dominated the northern group even stronger than last year. The Westphalia able to secure one point ahead of the season victory. The duels were a draw. However, dark clouds were gathering over victories. Successful coach Neuser left the club. Then Silvia Neid wanted to go to SG Praunheim. The case went before the Labour Court and envy had to stay. The big surprise was Tennis Borussia Berlin in third place. Overall, the mid-table lay very close together. Both climbers were able to keep the class. For the relegation zone was for traditionalists a picture of horror. Record champions SSG 09 Bergisch Gladbach disappeared as well as the Master of 1985, KBC Duisburg, from the House of Lords. While the Bergisch Gladbach tradition still lives on at Bayer Leverkusen, there are at KBC Duisburg for years no longer women's football. For the FC - Rumeln Kaldenhausen should show off big in the coming years.

The southern group experienced one of the most exciting seasons in history. Both the first three and the last three of the table were separated by only two points. The TuS Niedernkirchen could again celebrate the season victory and keep the FSV Frankfurt at a distance. Third was the SG Praunheim, which was allowed for the first time mountain air. In midfield cavorted the same teams as last year. Of the climbers only TuS Woerrstadt could hold the class, while the SC 07 Bad Neuenahr was his reputation as a lift team. Was accompanied Bad Neuenahr TSV Battenberg, whose women's football department he worked as an DTC Allendorf / Eder.

In the final round, the two northern clubs prevailed in the semifinals, where Brauweiler could enter the higher victories. In the final, the TSV Siegen prevailed.

With the SSV Turbine Potsdam, the SG Wattenscheid 09 and FSV Schwarzenbach Bundesliga welcomed three new faces. However, Wacker Munich was able to return after a year of abstinence.
