2010 FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships

The open water world championships were held in 2010 to 23 July 2010 at the Canadian Roberval of 15. There were the traditional individual competitions for women and men over the distances 5, 10, and 25 km are discharged.

Two of the six titles went to Italian or American athletes. For women, Eva Fabian won about 5 km, Martina Grimaldi about 10 km and Linsy Heister over 25 kilometers. In the men's Thomas Lurz won the title over five kilometers, Valerio Cleri won over 10 km and Alexander Meyer over 25 kilometers.
