2019 World Aquatics Championships

The 18th World Swimming Championships to be held in 2019 in South Korea Gwangju.

The World Swimming Federation ( FINA) awarded on July 19, 2013 on its congress on the edge of the swimming World Championships 2013 in Barcelona the title fights on the town in the southwest of South Korea.

For the organization to further the cities of Budapest ( Hungary) and Tokyo ( Japan) had applied. Another application has been submitted by the Chinese Swimming Association, without naming a city as a venue.
