2011 Faroe Islands Cup
The Faroe Islands Football Cup in 2011, also known as Løgmanssteypið 2011 took place between 26 March and 5 August 2011 and was played for the 57th time. In the final game, which was played in Við Djúpumýrar in Klaksvík on artificial turf, won defending EB / Streymur 3-0 ÍF Fuglafjørður and could thus win the trophy for the fourth time. In addition, EB / Streymur took thereby participate in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League 2012/13.
EB / Streymur and ÍF Fuglafjørður occupied in the championship places two and seven. With AB Argir a second division team reached the quarter- finals.

Eligible were all A- 20 teams of four Faroese leagues. Specifically, these were:

All first division and second division three by lottery were set for the first round. The remaining teams played in a round, the remaining three participants. All rounds were played in the knockout system.
Qualifying round
The matches of the qualifying round took place on 26 March. The draw for this and the next stage was carried out on March 7.
First round
The games of the first round took place on 2 and 3 April.
Quarterfinals
The quarter-finals were held on May 4.
Semifinal
The first legs in the semi-finals took place on the 19th of May, the return legs on 14 June.
