2012–13 IIHF European Women's Champions Cup

The IIHF European Women Champions Cup 2012/13 was the ninth edition of the discharged by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF competition. On the 5th October 2012 discharged until February 24, 2013 participated in this tournament 20 teams from 20 countries. The final round was held from 24 to 26 February 2013 in Oulu, Finland.

For the fifth time in the history of European Women Champions Cup Final Round none of the participants had been set. The four finalists were determined in two qualifying rounds.

Preliminary round

The preliminary round matches were held October 22, 2012 from 5. As a venue for group A acted from Bolzano in Italy, in the Norwegian Örnsköldsvik the pairings of group C and group D were held were held in the Austrian Vienna.

The winners of Groups A and D have qualified to participate in Group E, while the winners of the groups B and C were placed in the group F.

Group A

The matches of Group A were held to 7 October 2012 at the ice rink Palaonda in Bolzano in Italy on 5.

Group B

The games were conducted from 19 to 21 October 2012 at the Ice Palace Maladsetschna ( Маладзечна ) in the region of Minsk.

Group C

The Group C matches were held from 20 to 22 October 2012 in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden.

Group D

The Group D games were held from 19 to 21 October 2012 in the Albert- Schultz- ice rink in Vienna.

Second round

The matches of the second round were held to 9 December 2012 from 7. As a venue for the Group E, the Austrian Dornbirn served and the group F was played in Oulu, Finland. It qualified in each case the two teams in the first positions of a group for the Super Final.

Group E

For the games in Group E, the ZSC Lions and the German representatives ESC Planegg were already set. They met from 7 to 9 December 2012 at Exhibition Stadium Dornbirn to the teams who qualified in the group stage.

Group F

For the games in Group F Kärpät Oulu from Finland and Moskovskaya Oblast Tornado were set.

Final tournament

The final tournament was held from 22 to 24 February 2013 the Jäähalli Oulu in Oulu, Finland instead. In the two qualifying rounds, four teams were able to qualify for it.
