2013 Tashkent Challenger

Quarterfinals Weintraub vs. Jaziri

At a particular incident occurred before the quarter-final encounter of the Israeli Amir Weintraub against the Tunisian Malek Jaziri player. Before the game it was announced that the Tunisian Tennis Federation wrote an e- mail to Jaziri and said to him, is to take up his game against Weintraub. As could be seen from the mail Jaziri, this was done after consultation with the Tunisian Ministry of Youth and Sports. The spokesman of the Ministry Sadok Touati confirmed to demand the Associated Press dispatch and content of the mail to Jaziri. The Tunisian subsequently went to the game against Weintraub not to, so the Israelis moved in without a fight in the semi-finals.
