Divij Sharan

Divij Sharan ( born March 2, 1986 in New Delhi ) is an Indian tennis player.

Career

Divij Sharan celebrated as a double specialist focused on the second-rate Challenger Tour success. He won four titles in a double date. On the ATP World Tour, he moved in 2013 in Newport on the side of Ivo Karlović the semi-finals. Shortly after he reached the finals with Purav Raja of Bogotá, where they defeated Edouard Roger -Vasselin and Igor Sijsling with 7:64 and 7:62. At Grand Slam tournaments he reached on the qualifications the main draw of Wimbledon 2013. His highest singles ranking in the world rankings, he reached on 30 July 2007 with position 438 in the double he reached Rank 66 in July 2013.

Divij Sharan debuted in 2012 for the Indian Davis Cup team. On the side of Vishnu Vardhan he won against New Zealand at the same time his first match for India.
