2014 BBL-Pokal

The Beko BBL Cup in 2014 was the fifth edition of the Cup competition in the German basketball club of gentlemen as the League Cup first basketball league. The organization of this competition is subject to the League Association of Basketball - Bundesliga and the German Cup winner determined in basketball club of gentlemen.

Mode

To qualify for this competition, the results were decisive in the first round of the National Basketball League 2013/14. Like last year, a trophy table was set up based on the results of the Bundesliga winter break, where the games of the host of the Final Fours were not taken into account. In addition to the automatically qualified hosts the addition of six top-ranked teams this trophy table were qualified. The pairings were determined by drawing lots, which also ruled over the home right in the qualifying round. The winner or the next round in the competition Wurd determined in the knockout system within a regular basketball game.

The winner of the competition was automatically qualified for the BEKO BBL Champions Cup at the start of the National Basketball League 2014 /15 campaign.

Discharge

Ratiopharm Ulm qualified automatically as hosts for the Final Four. The three remaining places for the final tournament were played on February 5, 2014.

The Final Four was held in Ulm on 29 and 30 March 2014.
