- Assyria: the beginning of the First Dynasty ( " 17 kings who lived in tents ").
- The Akkadian king Naram -Sin Maništušu and led campaigns against Magan (now Oman). The aim of the expedition was the procurement of raw materials, particularly copper. Magan was finally conquered by Naram -Sin.
