2nd AACTA International Awards

The AACTA International Awards 2013 were awarded by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts, a company founded by the Australian Film Institute in August 2011, a non-profit organization, on 26 January 2013 Soho House in Los Angeles. They honored the best films of the year 2012 outside Australia and are the counterpart to the 28 and 30 January, 2013 found regular AACTA Awards for Australian films. The ceremony was shown in sections during the regular AACTA Awards at Network Ten.

The nominations were announced on 8 January 2013. With five nominations it received the comedy The Silver Linings most nominations of which it won three. In addition, Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver were each as best / r Supporting Actor / winner for her roles in The Silver Linings without competition. The verbleibenen two awards won Quentin Tarantino for his screenplay for Django Unchained and Daniel Day-Lewis for best actor for Lincoln.
