The Autocesta A8 (Croatian for ' A8 ' ), also called Učka highway, east of Pazin a highway with oncoming traffic (similar to continuous bevorrangten federal roads ) and, since October 29, 2011 west of the driveway Rogovići a highway, which is part of a Istrian Ypsilon in the west of Croatia forms. The route is about 64 kilometers long and runs from Rovinj by the Učka Mountains by Matulji in Rijeka, where it meets the Autocesta A7. For over five kilometers long and single-tube Učka tunnel and the route west of it is a charge, just east of the tunnel, the track is not a toll road. A second tunnel for the older tunnel is planned. A new tunnel is up for discussion.
