Abdessalam Jalloud

Abd as- Salam Dschallud (Arabic عبد السلام جلود, ʿ Abd as- DMG Salām Ǧallūd, also Abdessalam Jalloud or Abdul Salam Jalloud; born 15 December 1944 Mizda, Fezzan, south of Tripoli, Libya ) was Prime Minister of Libya.

Major Dschallud received his military training at the armored forces in Misrata, at the Military Academy in Benghazi and briefly in the United States and Great Britain. As one of the closest allies of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi in his coup on September 1, 1969 Dschallud 1970 First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry, then Interior Minister, then Minister of Finance from 1970 to 1972 and then from 16 July 1972 to March 1, 1977 Prime Minister of Libya. By 1993 he was considered the " Number Two " ( " Deputy Leader " ) and the Libyan leadership was assessed soviet friendly than the revolutionary leader.
