Abebe Dinkesa

Abebe Dinkesa (also Abebe and Abebe Dinkessa Dinkesa Negera; born March 6, 1984 in Dendhi at Ambo, Oromia Region ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner.

At the Track - Africa Championships 2004, he won silver in the 10,000 -meter run. The following year he was fourth at the World Cross Country Championships, seventh in the 10,000 m at the World Championships in Helsinki and fifth in the World Half Marathon Championships in Edmonton.

In 2006 he won the bronze medal at the African Championships over 10,000 m, and in 2008 he finished seventh at the World Half Marathon Championships in Rio de Janeiro.
