Aberfeldie, Victoria

Aberfeldie is a neighborhood in the northwest of the Australian city of Melbourne, about 9 km from the city center, and is part of the local administrative area Moonee Valley City. 2011 had 3,600 inhabitants of the district. It is bounded on the west by the Afton Street, on the north by the Buckley Street, on the east by the Waverley Street and on the south by the Maribyrnong River.

The Scot James Robertson, the area originally belonged, named his property after the town of Aberfeldy in Scotland. After the sale in 1888 the name was retained.

Today, the city is dominated by large parks and residential areas with single family homes.
