Abraham Mateo

Abraham Mateo ( born August 25, 1998, San Fernando, Cádiz ) is a Spanish pop singer and actor.

Career

Abraham Mateo took seven years participated in music competitions in his home region of Andalusia, and two years later the award for Best Newcomer at the National Music Competition. At age nine, he debuted on the TV show " Menuda Noche " of the Andalusian television channel Canal Sur, where he regularly performed in front of prominent Latin artists such as Raphael, David Bisbal, David Bustamante and Juan Luis Guerra ever since. The videos of his performances appeared on YouTube, where he was discovered by music producer of the record company Emi Music. Already at the age of ten he was taken at Emi Music Spain under contract. His self-titled debut album, Abraham Mateo and the single Vuelve conmigo appeared in Spain in December 2009 and were produced by the Spanish music producer and songwriter Jacobo Calderon, who worked with Latin musicians such as Raphael, David Bisbal and Luis Fonsi. The album includes seven original songs by Calderon and four cover versions of well-known Latin songs. The album also contains a duet with the young French singer Caroline Costa, who finished second at the French talent show Incroyable Royale 2008.

Abraham Mateo debuted in early 2009 in the Spanish television film Dias sin luz (days without light), which was broadcast on Antena 3. In the biopic Raphael: una historia de Superación personal ( Raphael: a story of personal development ) (2010 ) about the life of prominent Spanish singer Raphael Abraham played the role of the young Raphael and sang some songs from Raphael's childhood.
