Adam Smith (politician)

David Adam Smith ( born June 15, 1965 in Washington DC) is an American politician for the Democratic Party is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives since 1997. He is representing the 9th Congressional District of the State of Washington.

Biography

Adam Smith grew up in Washington State and graduated in 1983, his high school degree in Seattle. He then studied at the University of Washington Law, graduated in 1990 from and was employed from 1993 to 1995 as a Prosecutor for the city of Seattle. After he from 1991 to 1996 was already active as a member of the Senate from Washington, he is since 1997 member of the House of Representatives. Most recently, he decided to re-election in 2008 with a vote share of 65 percent to Republican James Postma for themselves.
