Adelaide Hills comprises the hilly area to the east of Adelaide. The area includes 52 districts: Aldgate, Aldgate Valley, Ashton, Balhannah, Basket Range, Birdwood, Bradbury, Bridgewater, Carey Gully, Castambul, Charleston, Cherryville, Chain of Ponds, Crafers, Crafers West, Cudlee Creek, Forest Range, Forreston, Greenhill, Gumeracha, Heathfield, Houghton Humbug Scrub Inglewood, Inverbrackie, Iron Bank, Kenton Valley, Kersbrook, Lenswood, Lobethal, Longwood, Lower Hermitage, Millbrook, Montacute, Mount George, Mount Torrens, Mylor, Norton Summit, Oakbank, Paracombe, Piccadilly, Rostrevor, Scott Creek, Stirling, Summertown, Teringie, Upper Hermitage, Upper Sturt, Uraidla, Verdun, Woodforde and Woodside. The administrative headquarters of the council is in the Woodside neighborhood.

Management

The Council of Adelaide Hills has 13 members, twelve Councillor elected by the residents of the five wards ( three each from Mt Lofty and Onkaparinga Valley Ward, two each from Manoah, Marble Hill and Torrens Valley Ward). These five districts are set independently of the districts. The Council President and Mayor ( Mayor ) is also elected by all residents of the City.
