Adolphe-Maria Gustave Hardy

Adolphe -Marie Gustave Hardy ( born July 23, 1920 in Nantes, † August 9, 2011 in Aubagne, Provence -Alpes- Côte d' Azur) was a French clergyman and Roman Catholic Bishop of Beauvais.

Life

Adolphe -Marie Hardy received on 31 March 1945, the ordination. He was a minister in Paris, an assistant to Archbishop Jacques Ménager and pastor in Reims and Nantes.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 13 April 1985 for the Bishop of Beauvais. The Archbishop of Paris, Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger, donated to him on 12 May of the same year, the bishop consecration in the Cathedral of Beauvais; Co-consecrators were Jacques Ménager, Archbishop of Reims, and Émile Marcus PSS, Bishop of Nantes.

On May 13, 1995 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
