Adriano Grimaldi

Adriano Grimaldi ( born April 5, 1991, Göttingen ) is a German - Italian footballer. He is since 2012 at VfL Osnabrück under contract.

Career

Adriano Grimaldi began playing football when Nicholas Berger SC. There he remained until the end of the season 2004/ 05 and then subsequently moved for half a year for SC Weende before he joined Hannover 96 and played there in the B- and A-Juniors Bundesliga. For the 2008/09 season he returned to the SC Weende, in which he first came at the age of 17 years at senior level in the Oberliga Niedersachsen used. Again, it remained only half a year and moved to the winter break to FC Sachsen Leipzig in the Regionalliga Nord. Here he captured immediately a regular place and shot in twelve games two goals, but rose from his team.

Then he moved again to the club and was included in the squad of playing in the Regionalliga West second team of 1 FSV Mainz 05. After he had reached there in the first six games of the season three hits, he came on September 12, 2009 on his Bundesliga debut when he replaced in the 2-1 home win against Hertha BSC in the 70th minute Andre Schurrle. He was immediately appointed by the kicker to the " player of the game", as he took out a penalty after coming on, which led to compensation for Mainz, and thus the turn ushered in the game.

With the beginning of the season 2011/12 he went to Fortuna Dusseldorf in the second Bundesliga, but then changed in late January 2012 on loan until the end of the season for SV Sandhausen to play matches. There, however, he was only ten missions as Joker, that he succeeded without a goal. Nevertheless, he helped the Kurpfälzern when winning the third division championship and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

In July 2012, he moved to VfL Osnabrück.

Personal

Adriano Grimaldi is the brother of basketball player Marco Grimaldi.

On the way from the away game against the LTi Giessen 46ers back to Göttingen crashed 30 October 2011 his 16- year-old sister and long -time partner of his brother Marco on the A5 fatal.
