Andreas Spann

Andreas Spann ( born May 17, 1984 in Ulm ) is a German football player.

Career

In youth Spann played in his hometown at VfL Ulm and SSV Ulm and in between on the other side of the Danube in the TSV Bavarian wood home. When SSV Ulm he was junior national team and in 2000 he graduated from even a trial at Manchester United. After the New England hopes were not fulfilled, he went to the youth of Borussia Mönchengladbach. There it brought the striker to the German U-19 national team and in the season 2002/ 03 he was brought into the squad for the Bundesliga team and got on April 19, 2003, use the match against Energie Cottbus. In the following years, although he was nominated to continue as a perspective player for the Bundesliga squad but wagered in the league team he came out no more. In 2006 he succeeded with the second team of Borussia promotion to the Regionalliga Nord, but after the season unsatisfactory with only nine substitutions was and he crossed the U-23 border, he returned to his native Swabia.

Spann graduated in 2007 1.FC Heidenheim 1846, where he first played in the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg. There he came regularly employed and qualified in 2008 for the new fourth-rate reform after the League Regional League South to rise a year later as a master in the third Football League. In the professional league then came his most successful period. With 15 goals in 35 games, he was top scorer of the team and also in the 2010/11 season with 11 goals, he was still at No. 2 on the team in the first league third year. Not good, it was a year later: At first he did not meet as usual and had to even with a pubic bone irritation bother. Then he withdrew in December a cruciate ligament injury to and the season was premature for him to end. Because of an internal ligament damage and a torn ACL he missed also the complete season 2012/13.

His 30 June 2013 expiring contract was not renewed, after Spann signed a one-year contract with league rivals VfL Osnabrück on 14 July 2013. After a successful start but Spann fell victim to a system change, played virtually no role in the team. In April 2014 he signed a contract with the Bavarian regional league FV Illertissen, which is valid from July 2014.
