Coat of arms
In green a silver circle with three blue waves over the floats a golden two-handled pot with lid. The escutcheon is placed a three-towered mural crown. In the white band at the sign foot of the place name in black letters " AGADÃO ".
Attractions
Among the monuments of the community includes the elementary school, the fountains and washing space conditioning Fonte e lavadouro público do Caselho, watermill Moinho da Foz (also Moinho de Rodízio ), and a number of religious buildings, including the single-nave parish church Igreja Paroquial de Agadão, after their patron saint also Igreja de Santa Maria Madalena (English: Church of St. Mary Magdalene ). The church dates from the second half of the 18th century, has a bell tower, and involves, among other things inside Altarpieces of polished wood and gold ( Talha dourada ), and coffered ceilings with paintings.

Management
The community
Agadão is the seat of an eponymous municipality ( freguesia ) in a circle ( concelho ) of Agueda. In Agadão live in an area of 39 km ², a population of 380 (as at 30 June 2011).
