Agenor

Agenor (Greek Ἀγήνωρ ) also Agenoras of Sidon (according to other sources of Tyre ) was a Phoenician king, the son of Poseidon and Libya and the brother of Belus and the Lamia.

With Telephassa he became the father of Europe, the Cadmus, Phoinix, Kilix, Thasos and Phineus.

When Zeus abducted his daughter Europe, he sent his sons to find it again or not to return. The latter came to pass. He thus lost his wife Telephassa, who had accompanied her sons.
