Agustín Orión

Agustín Ignacio Orión ( born June 26, 1981 in Ramos Mejía ) is an Argentine international football player who has a contract with CA Boca Juniors since 2011.

Club career

Agustín Orión began his career in the youth area of San Lorenzo, for the first time in 2001 he also belonged to the Senior Squad. However, his League debut denied Orión until 2005, when he was goalkeeper immediately. But he could not hold this position and was only from 2007 again as number one in goal, which he promptly led his team to win the Clausura. After two years Orión suffered a cruciate ligament injury, after which he succeeded behind.

Then moved Agustín Orión 2010 Estudiantes de La Plata. There, after a short adjustment period, he managed to win the Apertura 2010. With Estudiantes he failed in the Copa Libertadores 2010 quarterfinals on away goals rule, the eventual winner SC Internacional. Also in the Copa Libertadores 2011, Orión was beaten with his club in the second round Club Cerro Porteño from Paraguay on penalties.

2011 Agustín Orión went to the Boca Juniors, where he was first-choice goalkeeper.

National team career

Was Orión the Copa America for the first time appointed Alfio Basile in 2007 by coach as the third goalie behind Roberto Abbondanzieri and Juan Pablo Carrizo in the squad of Argentina.

In September 2011 Alejandro Sabella Orión nominated for the Copa Roca. There he played both games against Brazil.
