Alan Baumgarten
Edward Alan Baumgarten ( born 1 February 1957 in Los Angeles, California) is an American editor.
Life
Baumgarten began his career in the film business as an assistant editor mid-1980s. Starting with Rebel Waves from 1989 he is active as an independent cutter. Especially in the 1990s, he was primarily involved in low-budget and television productions. At the beginning of the 2000s, then worked for a number of television series and films until it for movies accepts the cut since 2004 in the first place.
Since 2004 he has worked several times with director Jay Roach.
