Description
The Way of the Albegna, called by the Romans still Albinia, mostly through agricultural land. Through mud and debris, the river brought from the mountains, was built near the mouth of the promontory of Orbetello, which combines the former island of Monte Argentario to the mainland today. The declared not as Torrente but as river watercourse leads some properties that apply to Torrenti. Thus, the flow in the rainy season swells considerably in the summer months, however, at least in the upper reaches, it is almost nonexistent. The flood in November 2012 called for four deaths in which three at the bridge collapse at the Ponte sull'Albega Marsiliana, a district of Manciano, were killed.
