Albert Vishnyakov

Albert Wischnjakow Alexandrovich (Russian Альберт Александрович Вишняков; born December 30, 1983 in Almetyevsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since 2011 in Neftjanik Almetyevsk in Wysschaja Hockey League contract.

Career

Albert Wischnjakow began his career as a hockey player with Neftjanik Almetyevsk, for which he was active in the Wysschaja League in the 2000 /01 season. Then, the attacker moved to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, for which he, however, denied only six games in the Russian Super League, before moving to their league rivals Ak Bars Kazan. For Kazan he stood in the following two seasons on the ice before he was hired by Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, where he finished the season 2003/ 04. In addition, he was selected in the ninth round in the NHL Entry Draft in 2003 when a total of 273 players from the Tampa Bay Lightning, for which he, however, never played.

Before the season 2004/ 05 Wischnjakow signed a contract with the HK Dynamo Moscow, with whom he traveled in his career, Champion of Russia in 2005 and with whom he won after a 5-4 final win against Finnish champion Kärpät Oulu the IIHF European Champions Cup in 2006. After a brief stint at HK Spartak Moscow at the beginning of the season 2007/ 08, the right-handed shooter plays for Metallurg Novokuznetsk to 2010.

The 2010/11 season he spent at Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the KHL and Molot - Prikamye Perm Wysschaja Hockey League. For the following season, he returned in the second Russian league back to his hometown club Neftjanik Almetyevsk.
