Alemayehu Shumye
Alemayehu Shumye ( born April 6, 1988, † 11 January 2013 in Addis Ababa ) was an Ethiopian marathon runner.
2008 Shumye won the Maratona del riso, the Warsaw Marathon and the Beirut Marathon.
The following year, he finished tenth in the Zurich Marathon and with his personal best of 2:08:46 fifth at the Frankfurt Marathon. He was at the Xiamen Marathon 2010 also fifth.
Shumye died age 24 in a car accident.
