Alex Rocco

Alexander Federico Petricone, Jr. (* February 29, 1936 in Cambridge, Massachusetts) is an American actor.

Life and career

Rocco, then still Petricone, grew up in Somerville, Massachusetts, the son of Mary, née di Biase, and Alessandro Sam Petricone on. He is of Italian descent. In his early youth he had connection to the Irish Winter Hill gang and the McLaughlin -course and in 1961 together with Buddy McLean, the boss of the Winter Hill Gang, was arrested in Charlestown. In 1964 he married his first wife, Sandra Elaine Garrett, who brought her son Marc into the marriage who was adopted by him. Together, the couple has a daughter and a grandson. Sandra Rocco died in 2002 aged 59 from cancer. Marc Rocco, who worked as a film producer, director and screenwriter, died in 2009 in his sleep. In October 2005, Rocco entered into a marriage with Shannon Wilcox.
