Alexander Aschauer

Alexander Aschauer (* March 14, 1992 in Vienna) is an Austrian football player at the position of a striker and plays since September 2, 2013 at FC Liefering in the Austrian Regional League West.

Career

Alexander began his career in the youth of the SC Grossenzersdorf, where he played from March 1998. In January 2001, the striker moved to the youth department of Vienna Austria. On 28 March 2008 he made his debut in the game against the DSV Leoben in professional football for Austria Amateure and played the full 90 minutes. In July 2008, he opted for a move to Red Bull Salzburg.

In Salzburg he coached while with the second team, but had at the beginning mostly go for the AKA U-19 team for goals. Matchday 1 of the 2008/09 season was Aschauer his second league debut for Salzburg against SKN St. Pölten. During winter break 2009/10 Aschauer received at the age of 17 years a professional contract with Salzburg and had since that time part of the first team. After the Juniors had to dismount in the Regionalliga West, he also came to the second team frequently used. On October 2, 2010 in the game against SC Bregenz him his first hat-trick in the first small "Salzburg Derby " at the Red Bull Arena succeeded against the violet Austria he could celebrate his first brace before 5,500 spectators.

The first round 2010/11 in the Regionalliga West ended Aschauer with ten goals in 16 games. That put him in January 2011 a change to the second team of VfB Stuttgart. VfB committed Aschauer initially on loan for bind and a half years until the summer of 2012 and may the player with an option to purchase long-term to the club. The Stuttgart waived out, however, to consider the option.

For the 2012/13 season Aschauer was awarded for one year at Wacker Burghausen, but returned already the winter break back to Salzburg and was awarded to the Salzburg farm team, the Austrian third division FC Liefering.

On September 2, 2013, his contract was dissolved at FC Red Bull Salzburg by mutual agreement, to which Aschauer changed to First Vienna FC.
