Alexander Bonsaksen

Alexander Bonsaksen ( born January 24, 1987 in Oslo) is a Norwegian ice hockey player who was most recently at Rögle BK in the Swedish Elitserien under contract.

Career

Alexander Bonsaksen began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Vålerenga IF for the first team, he was active in the GET ligaen 2005-2009. During this period, the defender won the Norwegian championship titles with the capital club in the years 2006, 2007 and 2009, three times. The national team was then given to the 2009/10 season a contract with MODO Hockey of the Swedish Elitserien, for whom he played for two years, where he in his second season in parallel for IF Sundsvall Hockey in the HockeyAllsvenskan, the second Swedish league, played. From the season 2011/12 he stood at second division Rögle BK contracted and managed with this in 2012 the rise in the Elitserien.

Internationally

For Norway Bonsaksen took part in the junior level at the U18 Junior B World Cup 2005 and the Under-20 Junior World Cup in 2006 and the U20 Junior B World Cup 2007. In the senior level, he joined for Norway at the A World Championships in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and the qualification for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
