All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company

The WGTRK (Russian ВГТРК - Всероссийская государственная телевизионная и радиовещательная компания - in German: All-Russian State Television and Radio Company ) is a public media holding company in Russia. As the successor of the Soviet Gosteleradio it is represented in the field of television and radio, and as a new field of activity even in the Internet media. With the help of this society, the government controls a large part of television and radio broadcasting.
