All You Need Is Love (often abbreviated Aynil ) is the third studio album by the German metal band The Horsemen of the Apocalypse. It was released on 31 October 2000.

History

For their third recordings, the band was able to secure the renowned producer and former Holy Moses guitarist Andy Classen. The cover artwork was done by ex- at-the - Gates - guitarist Alf Svensson. The album was recorded at Stage One Studios in stage.

After the Horsemen of the Apocalypse in 1999 separated by Allegro Barbaro by Ars Metalli label, they were taken directly from the Dutch record label Hammerheart Records. This commercial development prompted the previous drummer, Skelleton ' to exit from the band. His place was taken by the then 19 -year-old George Lenhardt, bassist Volkmar Weber took over the backing vocals.

Music style

The style stands out partly clearly from its death-metal -heavy predecessors from, but can not be defined exactly. There occur more melodies, keyboard solos and clean vocals, also texts are first written in German language.

Nuclear Blast later bought the rights to the album from the label Hammerheart Records, which put the death of Chuck Schuldiner and the attendant from his side project Control Denied in financial crisis. Then, All You Need Is Love was re-released on 10 May 2004 as a digipack. The first, limited to 1000 copies, circulation was at this time already completely sold out.
