Hammerheart Records

Hammerheart Records is a Dutch record company, which was renamed in Karmageddon Media in 2004 and 2011 under the old name arose anew. Label history

The label was located in Valkenburg aan de Geul. The founders and owners were Peter van Ool and Guido Heijnens.

The first release of the label was a split CD between the German pagan metal band Tumulus and the Norwegian Viking metal band Mock. Other publications include groups from the Black-/Death-/Pagan-Metal-Lager as Ancient Rites, Aeternus, Hades Almighty and Primordial, but also bands like Hagalaz ' Runedance that make rather quiet music.

Among the notable releases included the Greek band Septic Flesh and the bootlegs Zero Tolerance I & II, published as Chuck Schuldiner and his band Control Denied, but with trial and live recordings of the band Death. This led to disputes with Schuldiner's Estate and a withdrawal of the title in October 2009.

2003, Hammerheart Records financial problems. It was decided under the name Karmageddon Media continue and succeeded the two founders with Plastic Head Distribution to find a new distributor.
